I like how the final call always involved a name that they are entirely incapable of pronouncing. Apparently no one named Tom Smith or Susan Jones is ever running behind - always someone with 3 names and it's hopelessly murdered to the point where the person doesn't even realize it was their name.

Oh - and once this fat cow of a woman on her cell phone at the security line yapping about her boyfriend on the phone loudly (whining about how he left her for her sister to her cousin - yes, i listened because it was obviously a show for the public at that decibel level) got the final boarding call three people infront of me in a good sized line.

Her fat cow self plowed through 3 switchbacks of people, knocked over an elderly woman with her "carry on" the size of a buick, then was all "That's me! My plane!" and tried to push through the metal detector - only to have the best TSA agent -EVER- do everything short of telling her to personally piss off and step aside for the full pat down and wanding (the line applauded).

When I got to the gates she had missed her flight (and was still on the cell phone yaping.) I think of that every time I hear one of those announcements and I smile.
