Navy should be worn with either navy shoes or tan (flesh colored) shoes.

Black suits can have black shoes, red shoes and may other colors but NOT navy or brown.

Grey suits take black or red shoes

Brown suits (they're never really bark brown...hmmm...) need flesh or brown shoes.
