A few weeks ago I was traveling PDX-SFO-NRT-BKK flying on AS SFO-PDX and connecting on to JL. Since it was the first flight of the day to SFO, it was continuing on to PVR, so we disembarked at the international terminal. I went to the JL lounge to see if they could check me in there instead of going out to the counter, but they could not. However, they did let me store all of my carry-ons in the lounge,^ so when I went back through security, it was exceptionally quick.
