Thanks for the help (I actually was confident until a Nordstrom saleswoman expressed shock that I traveled with black pumps and was wearing them with a navy suit. She told me black shoes weren't great with navy - who knew?)

Oftentimes I keep it simple and wear a black shell with either jewelry or a scarf (sometimes a solid shell in lavender, peach or light blue). But I almost always do silver jewelry, goes best with my skin tone. Maybe I need to get a scarf to tie the two together...
