The easiest way is: check with her CC how much limit she has.
Then transfer the difference between the limit and the ticket cost (plus some more) to the CC in advance.

This way you have the CC protection, get miles (hopefully?) and dont run into the problem as being suspicious of money laundring (by using cash).
