I would definite put it on a credit card so that if things go wrong you could settle the dispute with cc company.

Call CC and told them you want an increase. They will do it. or pay advance into the credit card and inform that credit card that you will exceed the limit. They won't charge over limit fee if you let them know ahead of time.
