They are not required to have lounge access or free breakfast. In general, properties in Asia/Australia tend to be the most generous in offering free alcoholic beverages and better food. Non-US properties tend to have lounges open on weekends while a few US properties (Renaissance LAX for instance) are open on weekends. Others, like the Washington Dulles Marriott Suites, will have a breakfast benefit everyday (they have no lounge).
