Following my previous report regarding LY F and LH F and following the many nice replies I would like to share with you my recent (2) flights in SQ F.

I recently flew with a colleague the 772 and 77W on the SQ F.
My summary is that I had great time and I have a new favorite (Guess what it is :-))

Regarding SQ - The SQ 772 F is nothing to write home about, it is more like a LY C or LH C than an F product. However, the SQ 77W F product is unique in almost all aspects:
The terminal in Singapore is really nice - The check in for F passengers is in a separate check in area - Very comfortable and quick - I think it took us 2 minutes to get to the lounge.
The lounge is the best lounge I have been too after the famous FCT in FARA. It was very impressive lounge with great food and nice atmosphere. Also, in my opinion the Singapore airport is the most beautiful in the world.

The 77W F is also amazing - The size of the seat is amazing- Both myself and my colleague could sit together on the same seat comfortably, and also the bed mode was great- I did not want to wake up :-)

The AVOD is great on the 23 inch screen! But, the quality of the movies is really bad - SQ can use higher compression to get better quality I guess.

The food was good - And my colleague (who drinks alcohol) also liked the Krug and Dom offered :-). We specifically liked the last dish which was a chocolate cake with gold (real gold :-)) on top of it.

The service was very professional and courteous but I would still prefer the warm service of LY.


To summarize let me add my PERSONAL feeling regarding SQ versus LY versus LH.
Terminal - FCT (LH), SQ F lounge and last LY F lounge
Seat - SQ 77W amazing, LY and last LH
Food - SQ, LY and last LH
Service - LY , SQ and last LH

So all in all because of the amazing seat a- SQ 77W wins! Otherwise will take the LY F (Old one not the new one) anyday :-)

My next adventure is unknown - Perhaps BA F? Any recommendations will be appreciated.
