But realities are realities. I am a CP on US and Platinum on CO and enjoy them both. Like others have expressed, I additionally just don't seem to have anywhere near the level of misfortune that you and your FOCCUS cohorts seemed to have experienced. OTHO, I travel tATL at least half of the time which might be why, otherwise I just don't know...

But, alas, you missed my real point. Yeah, it's so easy to stir the pot a bit with you "old" US types, but what I was trying to say is that you guys (and girls) have a vast reservoir of knowledge about US and flying in general. Now it's entirely possible that this US sub-forum has degenerated into a "whine-feast" but wouldn't it be better if you all could change its direction?

I mean, like what if you just helped out all of us new folks (actually, me included) with the idiosyncrasies of US Airways and ways to either work with the system, or beat it?

OK, so you really hate US. So move on. I really don't care if you have endless old photos showing how, in the past the airline sucked. Things have improved. It's no CO, but things are getting better.

I really have no idea what this FT forum is supposed to do, or what it's true function should be, but I was kind of hoping that education wouldn't have been such a bad fate for it. You, of course, will be the final judges of that.
