I am seeking advice on the Choice properties on Puerto Rico. My wife, 2 kids (5 & 7), and I will are looking at 2 nights using points. I think all 4 properties are 10k points per night. I will have a car and we are staying 3 nights at the IC, but didn't have enough points for more than that.

I'm sure there are lots of people who have experiences over at
TripAdvisor. It's an invaluable site for evaluating proprties in a place you're not familiar with, especially with lower-end chains (than IC!) where things are more variable. Just use the regular rule there to throw out the very best review in case it's by the hotel itself and the very worst review in case it's by the competition.
