Checking out ba.com, it seems that a lot of the discounted (I) CW fares, at least to North America, have come down a lot, roughly half-way between normal levels and sale levels.

Looking at a booking in June, a return to JFK is now £1700. To LAX £2300. It used to be the case that an I-fare to JFK was around £2200 and to LAX £2600.

What's going on? No sale on as far as I know. Are these permanent reductions?

Apologies if this has appeared in another thread. I can see the thread about the WT/WTP sale (and indeed can see this on ba.com) but nothing about this semi-sale.
