AMSTERDAM - KLM will cancel these and coming week seventeen intercontinental flights because jumbo planes remain grounded for controls. The planning for the testing of thirteen Boeings 747 of KLM was made on the basis of the first five planes. "Unfortunately the sixth plane had more maintenance necessary ", said spokesman of KLM.

It’s not clear how many flights going to be cancelled the coming weeks. This decision will be taken weekly. Travellers will be informed and rebooked on a different aircraft type or airliner.
