Last week I applied online for a Gold card (10,000 points after the first use) and got accepted. Today I received a pre-approved offer in the mail for a Gold Rewards Plus card (25,000 points if I spend $1000 by July 31st). Anyone see a problem if I apply for this second card ? It seems to me that it's a different type of Amex card.
