Ahhh, good ole' Tower Air... I remember them. I think we only flew them once, and that once was once too many.

There's still quite a lot of praying on pretty much any flight to TLV, especially on El Al. Usually it happens a couple of times mid-flight, not during boarding, but maybe that's because of the timing of the flights.

I am not Hassidic, although I have plenty of experience being next to them on flights, and I believe (but am not certain) that there is a time-of-day requirement here. I could very well be wrong but I don't believe it to be a coincidence that a large group of Hassidim would all pray at the same time on most of my TLV flights. I don't think it's anything I did...
