They are nearly finished with the renovations-only 2 floors still have sections that have not been finished.
There are still some wrinkles to be ironed out.
Our first room-a large room on the spg floor with two doubles facing Las Ramblas had a malfunctioning TV and batroom sink.We were moved to a suite on the first floor that had a tempermental light switch in the foyer

The remodel has produces a very stylish hotel with good appointments.
The staff needs some time and training.

DO NOT accept a room on the first floor unless you are a heavy sleeper or are comfy sleeping with ear plugs as they are very noisy.
