When I booked the EWR-SIN non stop a few months ago, and paid cash, the price difference was around $300+ dollars, maybe a bit more. After many requests, and in person discussions with SIA agents at their NYC corporate offices, I was told they can't refund me that difference. (FYI: the one stop flight via FRA now is even more expensive than it was just a few weeks ago.)

Now, however, after all this back and forth, maybe I need to take another run at that. Frankly, I have never been known as a push over but, I also know when continuing to debate the point amounts to pounding your head against the wall.

Lynn, if you actually get redress from a person at SIA, could you pls post their name? Thanks.
