Just got off the phone with MP. She anticipates 3P nominations to take effect this weekend.

She also mentioned the person who nominated 3P would receive a one-time bonus posted to their Mileage Plus account in the amount of five percent (5%) of the actual paid flight miles flown by his/her nominee on United, United Express, Ted and Star Alliance between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 and posted to the nominee's Mileage Plus account on/before January 14, 2009. Miles credit will be posted to the member's account between January 15, 2009 and February 28, 2009, and the maximum credit that can be earned is 10,000 miles.

I did not realize this bonus was for the entire calendar year of 2008.
