I rang BA Lost Baggage today for an update on my bag, no news, I said that I had received a Courier Card pushed through my door that they had tried to deliver, the BA lady said it won't be your bag because the computer would show that it had been collected by the courier. My husband went to collect the parcel and guess what it was my bag! The online tracker is still showing "no information available" - the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, I wonder how long it will take to change the status that the bag has been collected
During mass baggage disruption, a lot of files just don't get updated due to the extra work it creates (meaning bags take even longer to reach their owners). The BA baggage person should have known this and advised accordingly.
