Call me lucky, fortunate, or just loyal to AS... I have no desire to get near WN...
It's roughly as bad as you think it is, and possibly worse. Think along the lines of every flight you have the likelihood of being at the back of an MD80 next to the lav... and even though you paid for the flight, you get miles deducted anyway. After you get off, free punches in the stomach.
Can you tell I'm not a fan? Though it'd be a tossup between UA and WN for me if those were my only two options. Probably UA.
