Well I can try! Though I think most of do try to recognize our Golds sitting in the main cabin, there are times when it just doesn't happen. It might be as simple as not getting the manifest or a complicated as having many other things to do. Sometimes the list is incomplete, for whatever reason, and sometimes the FC flight attendant doesn't hand it off to the other FAs. Sometimes folks have moved around in the cabin, in which case someone else may be enjoying your cocktail.

And, believe it or not, we may be just crazed and flat out forget. With flights as full as they are and while attempting to serve 132-156 people, act as security guards, babysitters, first aid responders, etc. all with a smile, it may be overlooked (while not on purpose!!).

There may be some new FAs or some who just don't get it, but I don't think this is the norm. Most of us recognize the importance of all of you and appreciate your continued business. For all of these reasons and others, I don't think it's a problem to gently remind us if we forget.
