A good crew could turn this into a fun, humorous moment by saying something over the PA like, "And we'd like to take a special moment to recognize our MVP Gold members, but since that's 2/3 of you today, we're gonna skip the roll call!"

...Or they could go all-out Southwest style and say something like, "And now, we'd like to pause for a moment of silence in remembrance of all of our MVP Gold members on the aircraft today...may we honor their dedication for spending most of their waking life suffering through air travel..."
