Call me a "Mile Whore" if you will, but as a student, I really don't have very many chances (read one in the last 3 years) to fly on Y,B, or M fares. So, unfortunately, that wouldn't get me any further than flying with NWA. I did note that you mentioned the lower domestic fare classes included, but again, currently as a platinum at NW, I don't really have to worry about using certificates for domestic upgrades. In case you were wondering, the 2 missed upgrades reflected in my signature were due to missed connections/last minute schedule changes where I had missed the EUA window for that flight, but NW did give me 1000 miles for each. Does DL offer any similar compensation for Platinums when not upgraded?
