Fully agree. An acceptable delay is one that won't impact a connection. There's nothing worse than fretting throughout a long flight about whether or not you will make your connection, arriving on the cusp, rushing about like a blue-arsed fly to arrive at your next gate sweaty and panicky. Completely ruins the whole experience, whatever class you travel in.

I can live with HIDDY's suggestion of 15 mins short haul and 30 mins long haul. I could easily cope with that. I never book tight connections because I have such a horror of the frantic dash or just-missed flight.
