Hi Piperlance, good to hear that things have worked between you and FT.

There is no denying that flying in premium cabin makes your life a lot easier. And I fully agree with the other posters here and I can't stress the point og is making enough. Status helps the most when things don't work.

I have to agree with you, going back to Y is not that bad. Especially when it is on a day flight and not that long (SYD-HKG). It is a different story when it is LHR-SYD and you are back in the office 2 hours after touch down.
I have done a few TATLs in Y and found the experience to be quite alright.
