My results using the Eco Pod are in. I bought dark roast '8 O'clock ' beans and ground them into almost powder. That is between espresso and Turkish settings. The first cup I tried I just filled the pod with coffee and hit the 1 cup button as instructed...a watery, weak brew resulted. Next I packed the pod with a shot glass (probably added 30% more coffee) and hit the 1 cup button again an wouldn't you know this cup was perfect. I find if you play around with the amount, grind and blend you can really get a lot of use out of the Senseo and the pods. I haven't yet tried to make a pod with filters..but I will.
I find the pods too weak. Not worth it to me to experiement and make my own. If you can make these and sell them in packs of ten I will be your first customer
