At least it should default to the same month as the departure. As pointed out earlier, if I book a ticket now for December, December should pop up as the return, not April, even if the ultimate return will be in Jan, Feb or later. Many travel sites as well as Continental and Jetblue do this.
So, now I change the outbound to November. Should the return change from December to November to match this? The return used to change as a result of changes to the outbound, and people here complained about that. Hard to please all
