Seat counter does screen scrapes of United.com to get *A award inventory. I think the ANA booking tool is also often used. For US, see:

Seat Counter now showing "O" availability

O = Upgrades to First and First Saver Awards
I = Upgrades to Envoy and Envoy Saver Awards
X = Coach Saver Awards

You can also search the US website for Saver Awards as above, to determine Upgrade inventory, which comes out of the same bucket.
