One thing that drives me batty is the date helper window's complete lack of intelligence. Select an outbound flight for six months hence, then go to select the date for your return and you have to click through all six months. Obviously my return flight is going to be after my outbound flight.
One feature I do like about the US website - there is a list of all 12 months at the top of the date popup menu, so you can jump right to the month you want, rather than scrolling thru all of them as on AA.com.
