Indeed, though I can tell you it's nothing compared to the bitterness of someone who has never had any seizures or other enforcement action taken against them nor indeed has ever been in violation of any customs rules or regulations, but who still gets a trip to secondary every time they enter Canada.

This was the case for me - though only ever at YYZ - until I had the sense to get my NEXUS card. Can people somehow be black-flagged for special harrassment without having committed any violations ? At any rate if I had any such 'black flag' on my record it doesn't seem to have interfered with my obtaining the NEXUS card.
