Ouch. That is the one next to my work. That bites.

FWIW, to anyone who owns a Garmin and you use the electronic lock, it makes the unit of no value if it is in fact stolen. Garmin will not unlock a device until they register it.

Also, FWIW, I know Garmin will not update any units reported stolen and will also report to the police when someone trying to do so. Another great reason to always register your unit.

Of course, always taking it with you is the best prevention.
