Love this thread! As half of a gay couple with a kid, we're constantly looking for options that are both gay-friendly AND family-friendly (think about it...), so I appreciate this. As for why these promos exist, the answer is BUSINESS. There are data that show that gay people travel more and have more discretionary income (not in our case...). Still, I don't mind sharing them with our straight friends. Though I think you should have to prove it! (A discreet hand-holding at the gate would suffice!)
