I didn't realize there were such expensive ones out there. I have no interest in a portable GPS myself--mine are built into the cars I buy, and sometimes I'll get one for free in a rental car.

Just out of curiosity, what makes one GPS unit worth $800 while others go for under a hundred bucks?
