Holiday Inn Seongbuk - Seoul

- What is your Priority Club status?
Platinum

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2 SINGLE BEDS SUPERIOR, and got upgrade to a junior suite, the largest room on the floor, double the size of standard rooms.

- How are the rooms?
Spacious feel both in the room and the bathroom, with separate tub and shower.

- How is the exec. lounge?
No lounge available in this property.

- What was good and what was bad?
The upgrade to the junior suite even though booked the cheapest pre-paid rate for standard room, at [oops, bad typo here, I mean to say] 135,000KRW++ per night. The IC COEX and Grand IC was about double the cost for the same week. When we did move to the Grand IC Seoul later in the week, the silver/white taxi fare was only about 14000 KRW, it would probably be 25000KRW if you take the more expensive black taxis.

No breakfast was included and none was expected. Nothing stood out as being bad.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Seoul is a expensive city, and this room is a decent value for money. There are many local restaurants in the near-by streets. We had a very nice Korean BBQ supper for US$25 total for the three of us at a restaurant within (literally) a minute of the hotel.
