Saturday I was flying xxx-IAH and had a uniformed pilot sitting beside me in FC. The second our wheels touched down, his phone started making noise b/c he had voicemail. He was reading a book and his hands weren't anywhere near his pockets, and he was obviously startled when it rang.

Many of you might flame for making a thread about this, but I thought it was kind of funny b/c FAs always scold passengers (or complain about them here) for not complying with their directives, when a pilot didn't when he was flying as a passenger.
