Why would you want to? I was PLT with CO and both NW and DL (supposed to be partners with CO) repeatedly treated me like crap. In fact, I was silver with DL (& PLT with CO) at the time and they wouldn't even try to get my wife and child in the same row with me on a half full flight (I had to do it myself). UA has never treated me so poorly even when I was a GM, and yes I've heard and seen some poor performance at UA, but nothing close to the time I drove home from DTW to CLE because of a NW GA's total unapologetic incompetence, which-by-the-way I didn't get so much as an apology even after writing letters and sending emails. I don't care if they fly to the moon, they won't get a nickel from me or my company.

I agree. I am pretty happy with UA. I never fly DL and rarely fly NW although not much choice to some locations. The new DLNW will have some route diversity that UA sans CO won't have. The only reason why I might consider it is route diversity or if CO decides to get rid of E+ ... Honestly I am a little concerned about both mergers. I am afraid that service will just deteriorate for everyone and we will have fewer choices.
