Are You One of British Airways' "Have A Go" Passengers?
Deutsche Bank / 31 March 2008 - Research note on British Airways plc:
The second most visible area of process change, in our view, will be the abolition of so-called “have a go” passengers. These are late passengers who are let through close to departure time in the hope of making a flight or a connection. The idea is that if a passenger is not through security 30 minutes before departure, these bags will be automatically offloaded. We
believe this new system, although similar for example to the system operated at Frankfurt airport, could well cause major problems for BA’s business class focused passenger base in the early months of operation.
