I'd stick with AVG, but I wouldn't use the suite. Uninstall the suite, download the free edition (which is just antivirus) and use that.
At the consumer level, I have yet to see a suite that I would recommend to any of my clients.

I've tried NOD and I like it quite a lot. Panda is another good one. I stick with AVG because I have yet to see a home use antivirus product that's worth paying for.
