I actually have booked a one way with Avis this summer from Macon TGV to Nice and yes it includes the insurance and theft and is a a good deal.

That said, not knowing if you actually need a car in Beaune, why not simply take the TGV from CDG to Lyon and change to a Beaune train. nice way to get there especially if you will have just arrived on a TA flight
