There are at least eight seats for sale on all of the sjc-lax flights tomorrow. That doesn't say much about loads, but it's unlikely the flights will be packed to the gills.

My guess is that the 9:55 PM flight would not be completely full. Obviously, loads will vary from day-to-day, but late evening (Mon-Thurs) is not exactly prime flying time, and there is A LOT of capacity between the Bay Area and SoCal right now. I flew on a Mon evening SJC-LAX flight in Jan and the plane was almost empty (that said, Jan is a very slow travel month). SJC Terminal A probably will be deader than a doorknob that time of evening. If you go through Terminal A early in the morning, it's a whole different scenario (I've seen the security line extend out into the parking garage on more than a few occasions). All of the eateries are past security. There are two security lines on either side of the check-in counters and you can use either one, although WN pax usually flock to the left-most one. The gates are right outside security.

There is a tutorial on the WN website called boarding school that explains the boarding process.

Weds early morning...haven't flown out of T1 at LAX recently, but it's recommended to allow a little extra time going through security. The nightmare lines post-9/11 however seem to be a thing of the past.

Remember to do OLCI 24 hours in advance for the best boarding spot.
