OK, this was a first for me.

Background: A few days ago, I purchased a RTW Business class tikcet originating in CPH, taking advantage of the cheaper fare. At first I reserved through UA, but could not ticket it at the cheap fare because I am in the US. (Buying the ticket here would mean paying the US rate). I was able to get the same itinerary through BD and pay the cheap rate while still here in the US,

So here's the dream:

I'm in the middle of the RTW. Have just flown MAN-ORD on BD and am connecting to UA. The agent looks at my ticket and dennies its validity, demmanding to know how I purchased it. She said that my RTW can not possibly be as cheap as my ticket price suggested, and that I needed to fork over $2000 more.
