How long of a trip were you taking? I'm actually always curious about the reverse ...what is in all those huge suitcases. I take a lot of month-long trips and travel with only a rollaboard and a topper. I'll pack things that work together so that I can get a lot of outfits from a fewer pieces. What do you pack in those two 50-lb bags?
