He did say, because it was hot in the cabin, he would ask the FAs to serve a 'refreshing' drink. After about 20 mins the guy sitting next to me commented that we hadn't seen our drink - and pressed the call button. When he asked the FA about our 'refreshing' drink was told - Oh, that's for downstairs. About 10 mins later they got out the trolly and served us 1 (yes 1) beer. Asked for another 30 mins later - sorry, not possible we are about to push back (that was another 45 mins actually). (I won't bore you with further details but these two FAs in the upper deck of this flight were the worse I have had for many, many years) They should be banished to Echo for the rest of their lives!

Before landing was told "anyone who's flight was to depart before 0710 - you've missed your connection. Go to the Transfer desk to get a new boarding card. When I got to the Transfer area there was a queue a mile long. I went instead to the lounge where I found I had been rebooked on the next flight and given my boarding card. Can anyone tell me why the flight crew couldn't have been advised of those business class pax who had already been rebooked? Then they could have told us straight away what the new flight would be - and told to go to the lounge? Crappie damage recovery.

I usually only travel KL when nothing else is available. Not any more, and I will use this thread to convince our travel department that saving a few hundred euros using KL isn't worth it.
I think that all of us together can produce something similar about almost any airline. I just had a something like this with CO. The service was crap on my flight from Houston to New York and due to an delay I missed my flight to Amsterdam. As there was nobody to help us through the airport 6 of US missed the next flight to Amsterdam so in the end I ended up staying for the night in Newark.
