Flight Centre uses Galileo / Apollo to make reservations.

The confirmation number you got from them is for Galileo/Apollo. You will need to go to www.viewtrip.com to check your booking.

Once inside your booking, you can find the Air Canada confirmation number which you can use to check www.aircanada.ca

If your booking says "Passive Confirmed" under "status", then this would mean the flightcentre has created a passive booking just to generate an itinerary for you (and a wholesaler probably is currently holding the "live booking" under a seperate PNR [perhaps in a different system such as Sabre or Amadeus] which they will use to issue the ticket). In this case, flight centre will have to contact the wholesaler to find out what the Air Canada record locator is.

If all else fails, you can always call Air Canada to see if you are actually booked on the flights.
