You can tell the amount of Elites that checkin and opt for an EUA, by the upgrade standby list, unless they're excluded for some oddity in their reservation, and haven't had a PC agent or GA add them to the list.
As far as advising status and ticket class, that would cause more trouble that what it's worth, for people to ..... about why a Silver on a Y class got EUA'd before a lower class ticket Plat or Gold.
