whats the reasoning behind not allowing this info out? Esp when the PDA site allow you to see a list of names (only 3 letters) on the upgrade standby list. Do agents on the elite line even know or have access to this information on their screens? When I talked to a agent, he told me that they were unable to see that information. Is exit row availability a good indicator of amount of elites that are sitting in coach on a flight? If all of the exit row seats are open but the majority of the plane is full, would that be a sign that there are not many gold and platinum elite members on the flight?
