I'm somebody who is lucky enough to have a maison secondaire close to Toulouse and thus in the last couple of years on the Toulouse ring road have caught sight of the A380 as she came into land at TLS a multitude of times and have to say she is a real beauty that belies her size - I can't wait to travel on her but am smitten by the view from below her at a few hundred feet. It is one of the great things about the Toulouse - if you travel on the ring road near the airport heading west you get a great view as the planes come into land in the same direction as the road so it looks like they will land ahead of you (so long as the wind is in the righ direction!).
