Luckily she just finished her final exams (grad student) and tonight im taking her out to dinner and stuff, so over some champagne it will be easier

That said, its like one poster described where we are going to "argue" about each of us wanting our SO to sit upfront. Reality is that she is too beautiful and caring to sit in coach, and im just a rotten SOB which belongs in cattle class if not the luggage container...
