I just flew out of Logan this week, and it seems like they've changed the way the security lines work in Terminal A. Instead of a priority line for Gold/Plat/FC, they now seem to have categories, something like:
- "Expert" lane
- "Casual" lane
- "Families and Special Assistance" lane
... and it's up to the traveller to decide what lane to go into. Gee, I wonder what lane people will choose? Here's an article I found in the Globe:

Flying Monday morning, everyone seemed to flock to the "expert" lane. Surprise, Surprise!
Does this not seem like a bad idea, well, at least if you were in the Gold/Plat line before?
