Different "B" fares to Europe, DTW-AMS?

[QUOTE=GmDTW;9551641]I have been successful a few times at getting a B fare upgraded on a KLM Cityhopper, but only when flying on a "premium" B (BEERT, for example) and Z was available when I booked the ticket.

Can on tell online at NWA.com which "B" fare I might be booking?

I'm checking now on DTW-DUB flights through AMS (to DUB on Aer Lingus).

The difference between basic coach and a "B" fare is about $500... from $1200 to $1700. The regular coach fare is being paid by a business partner and I'm willing to spend the additional for a reasonable chance of using miles to upgrade. The fare code I'm getting is "BHWANE"... can I tell from that if this is a "premium" B fare? Or does it not make any difference on the DTW-DUB leg? I'm not really concerned about the AMS-DUB part.

Trying to avoid flying CO from EWR to DUB... did that last year and it was a fairly uncomfortable experience in the small planes on that route in coach. Thus the interest in DTW-AMS-DUB.
