It has been like this at T1 and T4 for a long while now. They did something with the way they dispatch aircraft and turn on the guidance system that is a screw up.
A good example of this was that we waited 20 mins for a T5 gate last week watched then plane pull out then got on stand 1 minute later and had to wait for somebody to bring the bridge back. Why the F did he leave?
I also witnessed this - the same bridge operator obviously working on multiple gates as planes pull up to the stand. She looked mighty rushed and stressed when she got to ours
